just heard the assembly rooms in leamington appears to have shut.

never been there, though always heard it was a great venue, so wanted to try out one gig there.
 
First vinyl album (like there were alternatives)...ABBA - Arrival.

looks like the chemical brothers are releasing a deluxe edition of surrender in october, a week before underworld release their drift songs boxset. October is looking expensive, good job my birthday is in october!

Bonus bit of info in the same news story is that 2manydjs are the support for the chems tour :disco:
 
Music line up for the Singapore F1 finalised (a lot of people seemed to be annoyed that Cardi B has pulled out and been replaced by Gwen Stefani)

Some decent names on there but nothing I would normally go and see. I will of course pop along each night and probably tut and shake my head at the racket like a grumpy old fuck.

Gwen Stefani is fierce, man.

Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the worst bands on the planet though. Go on, sing about California again, you shirtless gimp. And I use the term "sing" loosely.

cardi b is getting a bit of flack, as she chose to have cosmetic surgery knowing she'd planned a tour, and she cancelling LOADS around the world. Personally I thinks she's shit, and to treat ones fans so poorly is low. It's put me off. Hell, I won't engage in anything primal scream since they played the same fucking song twice at a gig in the late 90's!

I get fans being annoyed if she is having to rearrange gigs where people have paid out to see just her but I can't get my head around people moaning about a post race concert. If anyone decided to buy tickets for the Singapore GP based on a certain artist playing for a short period after the race then they need their head testing. This shit is just a bonus after a sporting event, it certainly isn't a Cardi B concert with Seb Vettel as a support act.
