The Music Thread Strikes Back

:icon_lol: He looks like a prize pillock to me and could do with buying his clothes in the next size up.

Apart from the weird arm action which is a :icon_lol::icon_lol: I really wish I hadn't heard it as haven't been able to get the sodding song out of my head since!!

Ooooo - yes. Will listen to it later. Be interesting to see how things change without the Hanneman input. Not expecting it to be as good as Kerry King isn't as good a writer, but we shall see.

I really like this by Noah & The Whale from last year. More than a hint of Tom Petty about it.

Listened to the new James single Moving On twice today. Sounds superb!
It's released tomorrow.
Can't wait for the album, which will be bought on vinyl! :atigrou:

One of those songs I've only recently discovered - I love it all the more now that I actually understand the irony in the song... just brilliant!

I'm sure that nobody apart from me will care but Nina Gordon and Louise Post are back together as Veruca Salt with new material:

They were one of my favourite bands of the 90's but Gordon and Post had a huge falling out and hadn't performed together for about 15 years. I am very excited that they are back!

Veruca Salt fun fact of the day: Dave Grohl wrote 'Everlong' about Louise Post.

Just bought tickets to James arena tour this november. They'll go nicely with the july mini show tickets I already have.
That's my 2 treats for the year done!
It will be awesome.

Potential final line up for Download 2014?

To be fair, it's not as bad as I originally feared.

(Hellfest and Sonisphere still knock it out of the park though)

Awful line up imo. Possibly would have been interested 20 years ago.
