I think he was just a stopgap to make sure they stayed up. That club always has the next manager in mind seemingly.

Source is Mike Mcgrath From the telegraph

They've been largely rubbish since the restart but who wants to come in for two games with about two days' notice before you play again (oh, and it's City next)!

Don't think the Count of Monte Bisto would take the risk of having a relegation technically on his CV, he rarely starts very well anyway.

They had a short burst after he arrived and the Liverpool result, but the way Liverpool played that night most teams in the league would have beaten them.
They've looked like a disorganised rabble at times especially friday night. He's been let down massively by some senior players since return. Foster, Deeney, Capoue and Hughes have been shocking.

Villa are going to Mr Magoo their way out of this

Actually with the restrictions are Watford even allowed to bring a new manager in?

Could be Craig Snakespeare at work again...

Hayden Mullins and Graham Stack to take control of the last 2 games, seems really odd unless some players have got in the ears of the board and complained about how things were being run.

Unless Pearson got wind of them getting rid no matter what and told them to get fucked.

Leaves Pearsons CV in a decent state, doesn't have the relegation on there and can claim they were 3 points clear of the drop when he left and they were dead and buried when he arrived.

Watching his interview following the West Ham game on Friday night he seemed to be in full on psychotic weirdo mode like he had already decided which player he was going to have a bare knuckle fight with

Can't see the point of sacking Pearson now given where they are - end of the season then yes, but can only distablise them even more now

Or maybe the players don't like his disciplinarian style and might now buck their ideas up although I'm not sure that will help with their fixtures

It's one of Bielsa's coaches (Corberan) in at Hudds.
