Comments on Twitter have been mixed, probably just in favour but some utter tools spouting the standard shit "We need a manager who knows this Division" brilliantly forgetting their previous manager had been around a fair bit in the Division and done not a great deal for them.

John Sheridan quit Carlisle and is going to take over at Chesterfield (bottom five of the Conference at the moment). Steve Watson has quit Gateshead (pushing for Conference playoffs) to go to York (16th in Conference North).

Jokanovic seems early favourite, which wouldn't be a bad appointment, though I'd be interested in knowing why he rejected the Stoke interview.
