Real Madrid have confirmed the appointment of Santiago Solari as the club's permanent manager on a three year contract until 2021.

Fulham: Spent £100m...sit bottom of the table. What do you do when you think it is time to change manager. Well it appears this is their answer

"Alan Pardew has emerged as a shock frontrunner to replace under-fire Slavisa Jokanavic at Fulham"

Surely not!!

I'm going to say he wouldn't save them. Just a feeling.

On the plus side the K-Mac will have a blast when he takes to them to Spain in January for a piss up, sorry warm weather training

Fucking hell, how does that cunt even still get considered? Did nobody watch the disaster at the crem last season?

Jokanovic sacked - Ranieri in.

Pards must have turned them down...

Well it will be a fun few months down at the Cottage then!

Has he got enough to save them? They have plenty of talent in the squad , just cant stop conceding goals. If he can get a few clean sheets they have a chance. We should know by Xmas.

It's a smart move by Fulham. If he keeps them up - happy days - if he doesn't (I think he will) they can point to making the move soon enough to bring an experienced manager in with a good track record in the PL - everyone will remember the Leicester success over everything else. Win win for Fulham, even if they go down.

You have to feel for Jokanovic a bit - but the way they were leaking goals, they couldn't carry on like that. Massive game against Southampton coming up for both clubs. Be interesting to see who comes out on top as Saints look like they're sticking with Hughes.

Not really. He made a big thing last year over how Fulham did their transfer business and won that battle so this window was clearly all approved by him. £100m spent and into November and no clue on who is his best defence or goalkeeper and still have weak as piss midfield. All of his own making really

Yeah but if my mates/social media in general are to be believed, Fulham's transfer business was much better then ours...

Splash some cash on deadline day and folk think its been a good one. Does my head when people lose their shit on deadline day, they seem to forget what has happened before that day and the ambition of the club is based on what happens on that 1 day.

To be fair, that wasn't an unreasonable assumption before the season kicked off. Their squad looked very good indeed on paper. The difference is, ours have performed on the field. Thank goodness for Nuno.

Schurrle is a bit injury ravaged
Seri looks decent but apparently he is the archetypal "can't do it in the winter" player. Still to be tested on that.
Le Marchand is okay, nothing more
Anguissa looks like a £30m donkey.

And Ryan Sessegnon is only 18 years old. Please don't forget this.
