I can't stand Brentdan. I've been able to avoid his annoying press conferences since he's been in the wastelands known as the SPL.

This. Absolutely this. He's a moron.

Was talking to DW about this last night, it must get pretty boring being Celtic manager and there is only so far you can take them. He's won back-to-back trebles, and looks like he will deliver their 10th straight title this season. They will never have the financial power to compete in the CL, so at a push they could make the last 16 of that. But after that that it must get so hard to keep motivating your players for games against St Mirren and Livingston.

But you know that when you go there. I am not a fan of Rogers and would love to see Celtic implode and some other team win the title. The whole Scottish football scene is tediously boring and at best championship standard.
Its where failed premier league players go to win medals for mediocre performance.

Brodgers to Leicester, Lennon to Celtic as caretaker fpr the remainder of the season

Sounds like Ranieri will be binned today.

It’s all gone massively wrong at Fulham. Possible proof that signing loads of players doesnt work?

I would say so.

Also it is extremely rare that a club that employs three managers in a season survives.

For me, Fulham are down anyway, so this move, if it occurs, is about preparation for the Championship next season. Looks like they probably should have stuck it out with Jokanovic, as Ranieri hasn't brought about any improvement whatsoever.

I wonder if the wonderkid teenager Ryan Sessegnon will stay

If they'd bought ten good players then it wouldn't be an issue. The issue was buying a load of tripe.

Who the hell scouted Anguissa and decided "yep, £30m, that seems about right"?. Fosu-Mensah has always looked like a lumbering oaf but he's on United's books, sign him up. Fabri and Sergio Rico were the two best keepers they could find, really? And the list goes on.

They completely ruined any momentum they had coming up by signing so many (rubbish) players. They may not have been brilliant individually last season but they played fantastic football for most of the time. Their back four obviously needing strengthening and signing a more mobile midfielder made sense but they didn't need to rip everything up and start again. They'd have made a better fist of it that way anyway I reckon

I always felt they winged it a bit last year, the other playoff teams weren't very good at all which helped them out. Bettinelli, Odoi and Ream looked bad even for that level and a midfield three of Johansen-McDonald-Cairney is as lightweight and slow as it gets. Then they lost both first choice full backs from last season before a ball was kicked.

Oh definitely. It was a monster of a run they went on - Jokanovic can't have been far off the sack before the start of it - but it was very similar to the season before. Just this time they got through the play offs.

There was plenty of work to do but I do think what they did was overkill. They have signed something like 15 players this season.

Rochdale have sacked Keith Hill with them third from bottom of League One.
Four straight losses, and they now play five games against teams around them in the League. Hoping for a "new manager bounce"

Ranieri set to take over at Roma

Big rumours going around that Darren Moore is on the verge of being sacked.
