Neil Warnock is to be appointed as Cardiff City's new boss after Paul Trollope's sacking

oh goody. that'll allow him yet another opportunity to retire again...

A surprise to nobody but Nigel Pearson has left Derby by mutal consent.

A bloke at work the other day was saying that apparently Pearson had become more and more annoyed by Morris trying to stick his nose in where it wasn't wanted/needed, the latter supposedly wanted them to start using drones to film training sessions but Pearson suspected that was merely an idea to keep eyes on him rather than anything to benefit the team.

Same bloke also said adultery was behind the departures of both Martin and Clement, the former was allegedly having a go on Ince's bird.

would he take charge on Saturday or leave it to Steve Clarke?

Announced tomorrow he will be in charge.

Steve Bruce, bloody hell

Appointed. Got to love football logic. Sack him 17 months ago, in which time he's relegated a squad which had no business being in a scrap at the bottom...let's give him another go.

It is the same old merry go round of shite candidates shuffling from failure to failure. Warnock and McLaren. Christ alive.

It really is a chocolate wheel spin in England with managers.. And once they're on the wheel they never get off

As long as Wolves don't join the carousel, they can keep getting jobs all they like. Them managing is only good for Wolves (and everyone else).

Bruce will get Villa into the play offs this season. Like Mick and Colin he's a good Championship manager that doesn't over complicate the way you need to play in this league and although their defence is suspect their attacking options are as good as anything anyone else has.
