Will Klopp have control over transfers, or will the transfer committee still be in control .

Klip, Klopp, Kop, sounds like the noise some of their defenders feet have been making in recent times.

We will have to wait and see. Klopp didn't have complete control at Borussia so it may well stay. Although Ian Ayre is seriously unpopular with the fans so he should definitely take a step back.

They have a committee of 3 at Dortmund but no player was signed unless Klopp gave the thumbs up. I guess he would have wanted that with Liverpool's committee.

Pretty standard German set up at Dortmund. Sporting director and coach call the shots.

Rodgers got enough of his own men, £26m wanged on Allen and Borini, say no more.

The Liverpool fan at work today reckoned they said they were getting rid of the transfer committee because Klopp wanted final say on all transfers.

Did he also say they'd win the next 10 PL titles?

Nah he's not one of those Liverpool fans thank fuck.

JK: "I am not a genius, I don't know more than the rest of the world. I need the other people (on the committee). It's really easy."

Klopp: The transfer committee was not a problem for me, for me it's enough that I have the first and the last word.

As a former Newcastle United manager Sam Allardyce will need to hit the ground running at Sunderland.

Kevin Nolan gets to move back to the North East as well then. The obvious if unoriginal choice. Not sure he's got a lot to work with none of Fletcher, Borini or Defoe suit his hot the big man style

He did. He's the antithesis of everything I like in a manager so I hope they get 0 points for the rest of the season. His football is shocking.
