Norwich are pitiful at the back, how did they not improve that area in the summer? Conceded 60+ last season I think.

The two full back can’t defend and are constantly caught high up the pitch. They also don’t play in a way which the midfielders go and protect when they are up the pitch. They also aren’t good enough to gamble on their output like city would for example as they’d be confident they’d get the ball back and teams naturally have more men behind the ball against them than Norwich.

Add the fact that the CBs (and makeshift CBs) aren’t very good then they are in trouble.

I think they had a lot of debt to clear so are doing a bit of a Burnley I think. Come up cash in, get relegated and then try and come up again with the same set of players.

I have empathy for any fan group really even if I detest their club. All will have decent people as well as nobheads just like Wolves. The post I quoted was made during the first game of the season. They didn't spend much to come up and spent little when they did. The fans have been in the PL too many times to be excited by the novelty factor.

I wouldn't say they are epically shit. They have some decent players but they don't have decent defenders and playing as they do, leaves them wide open. They will face a huge task to stay up but there have been a lot worse than Norwich at this level

Aarons and Lewis are good players, but they're asked to do far, far too much. They're pushed on so high they've got no chance when it breaks down.

Yes - they have talented players within the squad. HOWEVER - Farke needs to realise just about now that their kamikaze style is not going to help them at this level. Park the bus, get some points on the board, or they are going to get completely cut adrift.

Cantwell looked really good at the start of the season, but has been epically terrible recently.

It depends whether continuing in that style is more important than top flight safety. Maybe the plan is try this season, and if they fail come back with a stronger squad still playing with the same expansive style. I think the January window will say a lot about the ambitions for the season at Carrow Road.
