Oh dear that looks really bad for Gomes. Looks like a double shin fracture. Son sent off

So with the son var and the 3 minute ali var thats already 5 minutes and then theres subs..
Oh and now that awful gomes injury.

Without the gomes injury i do wonder how long the ref would have added on.

Don't think Son did much wrong there to be honest. A foul but not a red card. Its the next clash that has done Gomes in.

Presume the VAR is a bit of a wuss and doesn't want to watch the incident back

Didnt actually deserve a red. Looks like Gomes foot went underneath him as he collided with Aurier after Son's challenge.

Son's is a yellow. Aurier had already gone to ground, just unfortunate

Your right, Son was distraught and would have been subbed regardless.

Var is meant to clear these matters up. Never a red.

A draw is probably about right in this game and it suits us as well

I can totally understand why the ref sent off Son in the heat of the moment, but that is an absolute gold standard use-case for VAR overturning a decision, and they totally whiffed it.

Richarlison is such a wanker.

Just seen his teammate go off with an horrific injury and then rolls about on the deck. What a prick.

Insane game of football from the 1st minute.

They Gave the ball away but he’s still got a lot to do. Pretty much a straight line run terribly defended. Tettey isn’t a CB but the other guy shouldn’t be showing him inside like that with no one really on the cover. Maybe keeper could have got down to it as well
