Do other leagues using VAR fuck it up like we do?

He kicked him. Even Neville is saying it’s a clear foul.

He was going down before any minimal touch - shouldn’t be rewarded for trying to cheat.
That was one where they needed to say to ref have another look on the screen but the refs have decided that they will never do that...and a big part of VAR is lost.

Oh and the person who decided on that handball rule can do one as well.

We’re not playing football anymore, all we talk about is VAR. Let’s just watch the choppers in Burton watching football.

I want to say its implementation went rather smoothly in Eredivisie and the Bundesliga, based on what I've read. It's also pretty smooth in MLS (which I've been able to see first-hand).

I don't think Liverpool have any complaints about the second one. Without the arm he doesn't get the ball under control.

Without his arm intervening he wouldn’t have got a control on the ball that ones fair enough, same as Raul Yesterday

Pretty sure you’ve not attended a game in Netherlands or Germany, so rather difficult for you to comment on how it went for the fans who actually go to games.

With the Man Utd goal is it foul just about but look at how much traffic it goes through to get to being put in the back of the net, 60+ yards.
Do we now check throw ins wrongly awarded that lead to goals?
At what point do you drag the game back?

As the (non) foul directly led to the move that ended in a goal it was looked at. If Utd had lost the ball then won it back and scored it wouldnt be looked at as a 2nd phase had started.

In fact, I’m done. Better things to do than watch this nonsense. Must be some WWE or shit on somewhere.

Fair point but looking at the incident again it’s a clip to the shin but he’s in no way of control of the ball. It’s all conjecture and the VAR problem is just highlighted in this thread vast opinion everywhere. The ref should be looking at the monitor and re assessing his own judgment.

The thing about VAR is its supposed to clear up the contentious decisions and it doesn't. All its there is for ruling out goals for handball and offside. Its not been used to overturn a single decision this season relating to anything else.
