Surprised the ref didn't book Ayew then for having the temerity to get fouled by a Man U player

Offside by a toe at most as I’ve before at what exact point do you judge his played the ball based on the frames per second that we have.

Would like to know how it feels to concede a goal then have it overruled. Happened to Man Utd 7 times this season along with their 13 penalties

No conspiracy, nope never a big six cartel.

Oh they two sides worse affected by VAR? Sheffield and Wolves
Funny that.

I’ve said before I don’t buy conspiracy theories but the PL and refs do make every effort to give people that thought process.

so, is it decided to change the rules for VAR in the PL, not as big of a problem in other countries?

I'm just curious as to whether there has been loads of goals in history that have been marginally offside. I never expected their to be this many toes/studs/armpit offsides

It’s something to think about how many goals over the years would have been chalked off? Reality is goals like tonight we don’t even debate last season we look at it and say it’s level fair enough.

At the start of season I thought VAR would ensure things like the Zaha penalty would be given and the games would be fairer.

How naive I was

The Fernandes love in really makes me want to vomit. Yes he's a good player but you'd think he was Zinedine Zidane the way they go on about him. Completely unmarked, must score, hits the post "unfortunate" it was a sitter.

Anyway 2-0.

yeah and stonewall reds like lo celso against us..still wasnt given

Even more than this, how many attacks / shots happen again in games which are actually offside but we don't know because we don't check

That's a nice goal. I hope Rashford can continue his form, he's had an excellent season when I think about it. Creates great competition for England's front 3

van Aanholt is a quality player, good on the ball and attacking..also decent defensively, hope its not too bad

Both IFAB and FIFA have said that the Premier League will be brought into line with other countries and have to actually use it as mandated.

I sound like a broken record with VAR doesn't create a fair system as its littered with hypocrisy. Example being you have a goal disallowed for a toe offside. Minutes late you can concede from a wrongly awarded free kick or corner but thats allowed to stand.
A lot of us thought the inconsistent decisions would stop but they haven't, classic was tonight Zaha is tripped in the box and its not given as its deemed not clear and obvious but when we played Man city at home Mahrez gets a penalty for a trip by Doherty.

not a day too soon then

It just replaces one person's (potentially flawed) opinion, with another person's (potentially flawed) opinion. There is no definitive "right" decision.

If it looks offside it often it

If it looks good it often is

Fuck this slide rule. It's ruining the game

Interesting scenario could develop on the final day with the battle for top 4, if Man Utd and Leicester both win their next match and Chelsea lose at Liverpool it'll mean Leicester and Man Utd will both only need 1 point on the final day to get CL due GL and who plays who on the last day? can see another Austria v West Germany from 1982
