You've rubbed the John Stones is shit lamp. YW will materialise

But he’ll still get a call up in the summer.

He always been shit. People got excited because he did a few cryuff turns. Just a deluxe Stearman without the throwing body in front of shots

Stones being Stones

Fwiw I think Samatta is loads better than Wesley

Well he moves and control a football which is a start. Still can’t get my head round how they’ve scouted these 2 for a while and thought spending 3x as much on Wesley was a good idea.

Veela lose, shame, heartbroken

Closer than I thought it would be.

Grealish doesn't look like he's moving too well, he could well have picked up an injury

Credit to Villa, at 2-0 it looked like they were on to a Watford style tonking. They never really looked like getting an equaliser though until injury time when anything can really happen. Certainly a performance that can only boost there confidence in surviving the relegation battle.

Without the stones mistake it probably would have been a formality. But getting it back to one goal gives you confidence and you know you only need one set piece.

Real 2 barca 0
The end of this on la liga tv is comical, the commentators interpret the spanish interview taking place.
Its like something from the fast show.

Why did Everton complain about VAR ruling out a winner? Sig is sat in front of the keeper...he is offside.

Save your fury for the player that just sat still in the area, he had plenty of time to shift before the shot came in.

Well largely it's because the reason Siggy is sat on the floor is because he was fouled and they wanted a pen.
But also because him being sat on the floor in no way prevented de Gea from saving that goal, he was well on his way to the right, but was done by the deflection.

Also seen loads of goals given when going passed a player in an offside position.....consistancy

Didnt watch the game so presuming VAR looked at the foul. As for the shot...Sig sat in that position means De Gea doesnt see the deflection. Would he have saved it if he could? 99.9% no but that's not the point they are looking at.

He’s sat two yards out from goal and moves his leg out the way to stop it hitting him. Whether he blocked his sight or not, he’s still going to have had an influence on the DDG in some way, whether that’s reaction, initial position etc.

Didn’t really get the fuss about it.

Yeah the probability of the keeper making a save doesn't come into it. Otherwise you could permanently park a man one yard in front of Lonners every game and every shot that went in would be given as a goal.

Sig is sat there a ridiculously long time, but imo having watched it a few times, he doesn't impede De Gea's view at all.
But I'm not an incompetent buffoon sat in front of a telly in Stockwell Park...

He does see the deflection though, and the ball going to his near post. Otherwise he wouldn't have stopped himself to try and get back.
