I think it was more the "fuck you, I'm taking my boots and not coming back" that upset people.

Not many were upset he was going and most understood we really were a stepping stone (and he didnt even have a good season), he just chose a twatty way to do it.

Chuck in were still coming to terms with the shit fest of having no money, selling everything that could move, a manager walking out on us and getting a very inexperienced cheapo replacement. As a fan base we were in a sensitive place.

Yep. The mad trolley dash has already started and will inevitably end with the “we tried but it’s always a difficult window to operate in” line being spun. That’s if we hear from them at all.

Quite simply, we needed to add 3-4 competent first team players to the squad to give ourselves the best chance of staying up. As it stands (and yes, there’s a few days left), the club have once again failed and whether we stay up or not will be on the roll of a dice. Nothing more.

The entire lot from top to bottom need gutting because the incompetence is staggering. It’s the same thing window after window after window.
