Wow that's proper mad some of that lol.People need to stop being dramatic about this whole thing. He has been a fantastic player for us and will always be remembered as such.

He us doing what is best for him and his family, nothing personal which some Wolves fans are taking it.They need to get laid or get high whichever comes first and get a grip.

Thank you Ruben.Hope you tear it up over there friend.
You'd have an easier time moving a mountain with your bare hands tbh.

I’m just happy Barca haven’t screwed us over with a crappy swap deal, I’m happy he won’t bend one in from 25 yards against next season. I absolutely will keep an eye on how he does as some have said legend is saved for a select few at the club. Cullis, Williams, Wright and a few of the 50’s side, Flowers, Bailey, Parkin, Richards, Bull, and Neves.

You omitted Kenny Hibbitt!

If he signs and the reported fee is correct then it’s ideal from our point of view. He doesn’t rock up (yet!) at Molineux for a rival and I’m personally delighted that Barcelona don’t get him after their recent transfer dealings with us. I was quite concerned that he wanted to wait for Barca given the very public statements of the manager not being keen on him so this is perfect from our point of view if he was always going to leave. @Langers has summed up perfectly my own views of him leaving with nothing but my best wishes.

I've already said I'd have preferred him to go to CL potential club, I meant that for his own potential to be realised rather than any sop to me. Whatever makes him happy, Wolves have done very well out of him and I've enjoyed every minute of his performances.
I'm hoping Wolves take advantage of the cash and use it wisely this time.

I genuinely know nothing about their league, does it run the same time as ours?

Good for him, probably sets him and his family up for a long and happy retirement, good for us, gets a massive chunk of money in and opens up options in the transfer window. Good for football? Not in my opinion. Anyone not concerned about the future of football probably should be. Newcastle's owners are up to their necks in all of this and if you don't think they want to see Newcastle competing in what could effectively become a World Super League then your head is buried in the Saudi sand.

I personally think it is very likely that over the next 10 years (maybe much less than that) the face of English football, European football and World football could well have changed irrevocably. The European Super League was thwarted, but when Saudi money effectively just starts hoovering up all the best players in the world to play over there there won't be a fat lot the English clubs will be able to do about it except put out an inferior product. From there a World Super League almost becomes a fait accompli.

Seriously where he goes after us is his problem it’s not like he’s gone to Villa or Albion. Gone to a club that we’ll never play plus we’ve got a nice tidy fee. He’s stayed here long enough he could have gone a few years ago but has stayed. People seriously need to get a grip.

As Wolves fans first and foremost, the chance of getting a big chunk of money for him (which seemed remote to say the least) is the priority, and should give us a real boost.

Going to a PL rival would have been less than ideal, unless they also paid through the nose (which again, seemed unlikely), so if the alternative is getting ripped off by Barca or Neves going to a Saudi club then it's the latter every day of the week, surely.

We can have opinions about what he does with his career, but that's really his business not ours.

£47m is a lot more than I expected us to get for Ruben this summer. Hopefully this goes through fairly quickly if it’s happening and it allows us to be fairly proactive in making signings.

Not ready to process him leaving though.
