The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

Olives are the devils testicles. Although it seems I apparently need about another 7 goes at eating them where they will then suddenly become as tastetastic as white chocolate Lion bars. .

Did it take you 10 tries of white choc lion bars to make your mind up about them?

I quite like olives, but don't eat them very often.

I am a self confessed ultra picky bastard. Advance warning to you all - don't ask me round for dinner. All off the menu:
red meat
onions/garlic
anything with chillis in
anything excessively spicey
curries
edited to add in blue cheeses - why does anyone want to put something that both smells & tastes of vomit in their mouths?

I'm gonna make mark look good here...

I tried one (well 4 actually) & they were nice, but not top 3 territory.
I got a box of those cadburys egg & spoon things for easter that have been intriguing me for way too long. Gotta check them out!

Didnt like olives in the beginning but now i like them..jalapeno or chili olives are my favourites..gorgonzola is amazing especially in sauces..bluecheese with pepper cookies at christmas are ace

Ah man. And I used to think you were an alright kind of guy...

A fair bit of chicken. I do like my salads, veg, pasta & rice. Probably eat too much potato tbh...
Have a look at the grow your own thread - I've gotta eat all that!

:icon_lol: at the risk of making things worse, I have drunk more alcohol since august than I have for several years. I put that down to darlo, PLF, Aiki, Deutsch, Paddy & co & matchdays though...

You going to need to try another 6 white lion bars then just to make sure.

Blue cheese, with sliced pears on a small bed of lettuce, sprinkled with balsamic vinegar is bloody gorgeous. What the hells up with you folk!!

Not even mint sauce could save that!

Tonight we had tuna melt sandwiches with potato (regular, not sweet) wedges and salad. My wife did home made bread and home made wedges and I was very impressed! I finished it off with a Cornetto :)

Pear and cheese? FFS.
Coming from the mint sauce man!

Pear and cheese - what do the Italian's know about food?!

One of the best things I've ever eaten was a pear, honey and pecorino risotto in Milan.

Just had home made paprika pork burgers, in......... pitta bread :D

Fuckung hell, you are making me hungry...
