The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

Fish Finger Pie :)

Place baked beans in pie dish, cover with fish fingers, then cover with mashed tata, then cover with grated cheese. When ready to serve, slap on the red sauce :)

Is that PPG recipe or American never heard of it. Mind you I really wish I could have remembered some of the concoctions I used to put together when I used to get back from the pub worse for wear (living on my own in a flat).

Nice home mad chili with diced beef skirt tonight to make it chunky and heartwarming. Just what you want on a bloody cold night.

Its my equivalent to a Fish Pie. Its lovely :) especially when all the fingers go soggy with the bean juice :)

My after pub food used to be crisp sandwiches, a pot noodle or tomato sauce sarnies !

Fish, chips and mushy peas. With plenty of salad cream.

Not especially no. Too tangy even for me. I don't mind a little bit.

I did a slow cooked, pulled pork in barbecue sauce for tea tonight. Was stuck in the slow cooker with all the other ingredients at midday and demolished at 6pm!

After an eventful afternoon, the good lady and I dined out tonight. Gammon for me, and chicken for the boss.

Homemade Thai Red Curry Carrot Soup. Why carrot, because I seem to have so many I dont know what else to do with them. Also making a Meatloaf, why a meatloaf, because I've never made one before :). A starter and a main that have no place being together at all, but sometimes its good to bend the rules :)

Got the need for some cheese on toast topped with baked beans, topped with Piccalilli.

Chicken and Sweet Potato Curry tonight. Twas bostin
