We only go to pick up our lunch as it is walking distance. Would never buy a weekly shop in there without previously clearing it with the bank manager.

Mind you - Waitrose "Crayfish Tail and rocket sandwich" I buy is a bargain at the price of £3......

Ugh. Rocket. Easily the most unappetising looking salad item there is. It looks like the stuff you'd get growing on the hard shoulder of a motorway, and tastes like it too.

I love it in my salads ( arugula as its called here ) adds its own distinct taste.

I had a doner sarbenni on friday night but I ducked to avoid a seagull that came at me like a Stuka and dropped it.

Had a nice tagliatelle dish with squid, chilli and slow roasted tiger tomatoes for tea. Lush.
