The " Honey I'm home and I'm bloody starving , what's for dinner " Thread.

Still trying to be goodish so it's piri piri chicken( breast) and roasted veggies ( courgettes, aubergine, tomatoes, red peppers and leeks ) for me. Although the thought of some pork crackling leaves me wanting to be bad.

Fish pie, with mashed cauliflower on top instead of potatoes. Sounds shit I know, also shit looking colour wise. Will bung some sweetcorn, carrots, and green beans on the plate for a bit of colour.
 
Not a fan of pancakes. So none will be hitting my plate later. The wife loves them so no doubt she will be making herself a crap load.
 
If only I was a fan of puns, I would have been straight in with that one.

I'm not a fan either. Fortunately, the offspring have had some for their school dinners so I don't feel obliged to make them any for their tea.
 
We are having pancakes tomorrow when micro is here. I fucking LOVE pancakes. Tonight though is definitely takeaway curry time.
 
I only managed two pancakes. They were big fat American style ones though with fruit, chocolate sauce and ice cream.
 
I didn't make any this year but they would have been blueberry ones with lemon juice and golden syrup over them if I did.

No salad cream.
 
I had monkfish earlier, wasn't a fan, just a tough bland lump of nothing.

Put me off making pancakes too. :(
 
I had a monkfish curry once and it was horrible.

Never have fish in curry.
 
Doing a chilli tonight, and I wanted a different side. A bit bored with rice this week, and bread on its own might be a little dull. Decided to try making a Pan Haggerty and it looks fucking lush so far!
 
Pan Haggerty? Isn't that just a poncey bubble and squeak?
 
Cooked slightly differently and I didn't put cabbage or bacon in it. Similar though.
