Quite a few of the lower ranked players earned more then double their career earnings just from this tournament.
 
It'd be very, very difficult to turn down the sort of money they've been offered, even just relatively. I know one can only get so rich before it doesn't make a difference, but fuck me it's eye-watering.

And whether it's the PGA Tour, Premier League football or whatever, you don't have to follow the money back very far before it turns red with the blood of slave labour, oppression, resource theft and other atrocities
 
There's only a handful of half decent players so far, and they just be rubbing their hands together right now given how much they'll make just for doing ok against a crap field.

This is it, the first wave who are playing this week are getting all the heat and hard questions about Saudi money, 6 to 12 months time after seeing the likes of Sam Horsfield pocket £1million for 3 rounds of golf and finishing 5th, more big names will go over knowing that the attention has passed and they can get on with earning a pile more cash.

American golf fans shouting after every shot does my fucking head in though. One shout like that should result in a cull around the tee involved.
 
Stenson removed as Ryder Cup captain so I guess he is off to the Saudi Sportswash

People with money always strive for more. Look at Sunak and his Mrs with their tax fiddles, it's a compulsion.
 
Cam Smith joins the LIV sportswash cunt soup. Get in the sea you mullet haired wanker.
 
He made a *sort of* fair point. This allows him to move his permanent base back to Australia and he's much happier there than in the US. Gets a full 3-4 month off season and they're also likely to have a LIV event there.

But of course we know that's not actually why he's moved.
 
A number of golfers who fucked off to chase the money (and to a point I get it, with the eye watering sums available) but once they've gone they have a fucking nerve coming back to play in the Masters this week because the PGA tour has world ranking points and the LIV set up has lots of money but no points. Can't have your cake and eat it.
Should have no right to come back and play the PGA tournaments. There are young golfers trying their best to get a spot on the tour and make some money for themselves and their families and these rich and greedy fuckpigs are keeping them out of it.
Pisses me right off.
