The Goggle Box Thread

Finally got around to starting Vikings years after adding it to my watchlist. It’s as good as everyone says and I’m loving it but Ragnar Lothbrok’s son is easily one of the most irritating characters ever.

Think we watched about 5 series but got a bit bored with it after that, got a bit samey and also too much myth stuff for me.

I’m only one season deep so there’s every chance I’ll get there myself yet.

I see 2 new Dexter shows in the making.

Dexter: Original Sin.
Dexter as a teenager. Michael C Hall will be the narrator of young Dexters inner thoughts.

Dexter: Resurrection.
Michael C Hall back as adult Dexter.

Probably really late to this as normal but just finished Supacell and it’s fantastic

I’ll have to crack on with it when I’ve finished Vikings, the first episode just didn’t do it for me at all.

On the late front watched the first series of Dexter and 2 eps of the 2nd. As others have said it's very good. The only issue with watching something late is it takes some of the suspense away. His bodies have just been discovered in the sea, but I know he's not going to ultimately pay the price as there's another 6 seasons

Steeltown Murders is excellent.
'The Power' on Prime is pretty good too.
It's old but I've just binged Unforgotten on itvx and that was great.
Binged 5 series of Unforgotten over the past couple of weeks. Really enjoyed it, brilliant series and some names in it too

On the very late front, just finished Dragon Ball, about to start Dragon Ball Z...

Seasons 3-8 are about his kills in prison

To be serious for a rare second....Will still be enough in the show to keep you interested even though you kind of know the outcome of the main story.

Isn't that just like any series though? GOT killing off main characters aside

Unless you mean that if you were watching it live then it might only go on for 2 series and have an ending of sorts at the end of that

I was on the fence after first episode but it really picked up. Watched the next 5 really quickly.
