Been watching Detectorists through again in preparation for the Christmas special. Just finished S2 and the special. Still a great watch.

Will probably do the same. Tend to do it with a lot of things. Excuse to rewatch!

Andor has blown the doors off of what I thought was possible for Star Wars media, especially in the Disney era. After Rise of Skywalker, I thought I was just done with Star Wars. I enjoy The Mandalorian as much as the next person, but Andor, somehow, has captured that indelible magic that so few pieces of media can when you're not a kid anymore.

What a show. What an achievement.

TBF I've enjoyed all the Star Wars series but Andor is definitely something different, a totally different style and feel to it.

It can be a bit marmite for folks because it almost completely eschews The Force and Jedi/Sith stuff. If you come to Star Wars for lightsabers, you won't find any here (although I have a suspicion that a certain character may be hiding one under their robes).
