For some reason season 5 of The Wire is only available for 30 days on Now whereas the first four have no time limit. What the fuck is that about? Going to have to get my skates on and watch it all quick.

Boardwalk was good, Generation Kill was alright. Treme was extremely dull - I don't think I finished it, got too bored of it.

If you like The Wire, you must watch The Corner - it was the prequel to the Wire, set on a single corner of a block in Baltimore about a family living there and the struggles each member of the family is going through. It was excellent at the time, havent seen in around 20yrs now but definitely one to watch if you liked the Wire ( happy now Paul?)

The book of The Corner is a great read as well.

In other news, my Mom has "discovered" The Crown and has watched 2 seasons in 3 days, bless her couch potato heart.

We binged series four of the crown in two days. Best bit was Andrew moaning about the newspapers not concentrating on his wedding day and Charles pointing out nobody cared as he was a minor royal and now miles down the line of succession and completely unimportant. To which Edward commented that saying such things was “massively cunty”.

Best bit of season 4 was when Andrew was telling the Queen about his new love interest and explained it was ok as she was only 17....
The producers have subtly speared the Royals in this series and they've done it very well

Watched the first two episodes of S3 last night and it’s back to the feel of S1, all good so far.
