Apparently this stand has been done up to be all hospitality. Kicking out normal fans for rich wankers and corporate clients.

£205 per game.

Id imagine this puts the away tickets agreement in jeopardy too, can't imagine them being happy people get to watch the same game for £30.

With that location you can almost guarantee some spiv will pay it for social media clout. There's Nusr-Et just round the corner in Knightsbridge charging £600 for a steak. They'll lap it up.

New hospitality temporary stand incoming...
The Jack Hayward hospitality stand, and for an additional £50 per match you can have "The South Bank Experience" where you get some headphones with piped fan chants and a pie.

If you want to something absurd have a look at the second bookable offence that Ojo gets playing for Aberdeen against Dundee United.
Basically his momentum takes him towards the crowd behind the goal a DU fan pushes him with force in the chest, Ojo confronts the fan but doesn’t do anything he’s then booked and sent off the fan nothing happens.

Very rare that I'll say fair play to Bayern, but here goes:

Five of their players are currently having to isolate due to close contact with someone with Covid. They're all unvaccinated, including Kimmich (who is an absolute wanker on this matter) and Gnabry. So you don't get paid while you can't turn up to work, it's your own fault.

There seems to be a spate of footballers collapsing lately.

Fleck
Adama Traore (sheriff something or other)
Charlie Wyke

Tbf Id be interested to see their vaccine status. Or whether they’ve had Covid. Seems somewhat coincidental and certainly needs further analysis

I think you have hit the nail. Prima Facie it has to be completely coincidental. But research and analysis of the cases might expose a link whether involving vaccination or not. And that link could be useful to know.

There seems to be a very low take up of vaccines in a lot of professional sportspeople, presumably because they don't want an adverse reaction to affect their training/performance.
The (tennis) Australian Open has said that there will be no exemptions for players not vaccinated to enter Australia.
It seems Novak is not vaccinated, and, though I can't find the source now, maybe only 30% are? Certainly a concern that a lot of the top seeds aren't.
I'm very glad that our club have managed to get a 100% take up amongst our players.

Unbelievable story out of Portugal last night. B Sad started the match against Benfica with only 9 players in the pitch, due to covid. After the half time break only 7 out of the 9 came out of the dressing room. One went to the ground with an "injury" right after the start whistle. Game had to be cancelled due to one team not having enough players.

Absolutely unbelievable the state of this league.

I feel like we missed the point about what offside is for somewhere along the way
It's a shame as one of the beautiful things about football for me has always been how it's the same across levels - the elite level is slowly moving further and further away from rest and it's not hard to imagine they'll almost be different sports in 20 years time.
