Neither of the coppers come out of it well, pair of them could quite easily be scared by Dalian being unpredictable due to medication and possibly wanted to make sure he wasn’t going to cause more trouble, that said, after being tasered he would have been compliant, I feel at that point the police were beating him because they could, in the interests of their own and public safety.

After being tasered he - in the foetal position - was kicked in the skull with such force there were bootlace imprints left on his forehead. Then she got stuck in with her baton.

When they deployed the first two taser cartridges it was absolutely about public and officer safety, after the third it was wholly retribution, safety wasn't a consideration IMO.
