Completely unfit for purposeStrange one in L1.
Oxford played Ipswich last month, during the second half it got ridiculously foggy and was arguably unplayable. The ref asked both managers if they wanted to abandon the game and they both said ok...until the ref said the current score of 1-1 would stand as more than 75 minutes had been played, at which point both said no, carry on then unless you want to just make the call yourself (both teams wanted a win realistically, a point wasn't much good). Oxford won 2-1 near the end in faintly farcical scenes where it was impossible to see the ball.
Both clubs then looked for this mythical "75 minute" rule. Which remains exactly that, mythical. It doesn't exist. So they both complained.
PGMOL have investigated and now say both managers were lying and the ref never said that. Yeah, seems likely.
Yes your honour, they both independently said exactly the same thing, but they're both wrong. Why would the winning manager lie about it? Nonsensical.
Must be something about sensational goals in the fog. The winner for Oxford looked like a belter but we're still having to take the word of Worthington and the players on the pitch with regards to the Stockport one.Pfffft woke snowflake footballers
This was the foggy view for my first ever game at Molineux v Stockport...

Too bad nobody would think of hiding porn videos on set for another decade...Ha, that reminds of the England pre-world cup (2014?) friendly where the weather delayed kick off and as a result we got some of the most painful TV of all time from Adrian Chiles and co

We played two friendlies in Miami. I went to the first versus Ecuador and the the second a few days later was delayed because of an electrical storm. 2014 just before the WC.Ha, that reminds of the England pre-world cup (2014?) friendly where the weather delayed kick off and as a result we got some of the most painful TV of all time from Adrian Chiles and co
