Happy to give them a go, less games the 'old guard' get the better although everytime I see referee promotions I fear Steve Martin has finally kissed the right arse.
Gillett is excellent. I have been following his progress in the championship. Here is his last game down under. He did it mic'd up. Great watch. If he does this in the premier league he will bring some rationality .(54) Mic'd up | An exclusive look at a referee's perspective of an A-League game - YouTubeNew refs for next season.
Jarred Gillett is supposed to be decent.
is there a ref called Wilkinson?Yeah, Gillett is how all the others should it.
You could say he is the best a man can get...

Intent for murder is usually an intent to kill or cause GBH isn’t it? That must be getting mighty close.
I thought he was cleared of murder so presumably you can be found guilty of manslaughter though the initial charge was murder. So if someone is “not guilty” of murder, then they can’t be charged with manslaughter instead??
Well that makes sense. So there are two charges and he is not guilty - murder, guilty - manslaughterHe was cleared of murder and convicted of manslaughter. Jury were given both options and decided that way.
Sorry, Kenny's post didn't mention he'd been acquited of murder so I assumed they'd just gone for manslaughterOr what TT said regarding CPS.

Unless there's new evidence.Double jeopardy still exists (mostly) so yes, if you've been tried once for murder and found not guilty then you can't really be tried again for the same crime.
