Another one in the redknapp shit pile. Still, sure Rosie did well out of it.

Top work at the back for both goals there

That first goal is special, centre half runs to make himself available for the pass then leaves it when they give it to him.

They look like they been on a bender all summer!

Well as Dan was saying a few days ago... Andy Carroll out for three months...

BT have lost the rights to Serie A to Eleven Sports.

24 hours after Juventus sign Ronaldo, the club announce they have sold 520,000 replica tops!!!
Doesn't the maker get something like 70% of the profit?

The sub contractor (manufacturer) typically makes 11-12% of the turnover, the brand will then strike a deal with the club, either to give the club a royalty payment for every shirt sold or a straight distribution deal where they sell the shirts directly to the club to then sell on. The latter would net the retailer at least 49% and the brand would get the rest.

They’re €109 a pop so they’ve already raked over €50m on shirt sales. Makes his fee look a little more sensible and I daresay they’ll probably cover it eventually.

BREAKING: @afcbournemouth to pay EFL £4.75m to settle breach of financial fair play rules when they were in Championship in 2014/15. #SSN

Wow. What a deterrent to other clubs that is...

This is why points deduction has been brought in and will be used.

I thought the whole club making money back on shirt sales theory was debunked a little while back?

It's got to be a really difficult thing to judge, like if they've sold half a million CR7 shirts that doesn't mean they're all new sales just because they signed Ronaldo, 90% of those might have already been buying a Juve shirt and just decided to get his name/number on there to mark the event so he's not really generated a shirt sale in that instance. That''s before you're even looking at the amount of the sales figure that gets taken by the tax man at various stages before it's divided up between club, manufacturer, retailers and potentially the player himself in some instances.
