I was bought one of those TSF books when I was younger and a lot it is just gossip and rubbish with some stories that sound like complete fabrications added for good measure.

Always thought the criticism that Sterling received was far too excessive based on how he did and this is certainly fuelled by the media (also a large number of Liverpool fans online who are particularly bile-filled). Undoubtedly had a poor Euro 16 (as did almost everyone) but the media's agenda against him had become really obvious by the time of the World Cup and his role was seriously underappreciated. Good on him for speaking out.
