Really? Not South America or North America? Or in fact the rest of the world?
No. Reason for moving it is European clubs moaning.

No other continent has their championships at that time so I don't see the problem.
To be fair I'd never deny that North America exploits Africa, too. Just not relevant in this case.

Player safety.
You think African players are exploited?
No other continent has the logistical or climatic issues Africa has. It’s a stupid time to have a tournament in a continent bisected by the equator.
In that instance I was referring to social and economic factors.
World Cup in SA worked OK.
But that’s pretty much it. Next one is in Cameroon, it will be biblical rain and immense humidity.
African football goes on all the time during the summer months. It's an entirely moot objection.

Thank you for making this point. A bug bare of mine too. ACN will be adversely affected by this, hopefully adjustments are made for player safety depending on the host country.Africa is not a country. It’s a massive fuck off big continent.
Just because they play in our summer in a small number of countries it doesn’t mean it’s a suitable time to play elsewhere.
[rant over, but it’s a massive big bear of mine when people generalise ‘Africa’ as all being the same, it’s the most diverse continent on earth, both culturally and climatically]
