Two stands at Old Trafford evacuated due to an incident. Conspiracy Theorists of the world unite..

What the hell have they found to make that decision happen

Sniffer dogs have been brought in, so they must suspect that an incendiary device is there.

Guessing its more than the Packed Lunch they found at Molineux all those years ago for the U21 game

Hmmm - wasn't the IRA* threat level massively raised a couple of days ago? To abandon it that suddenly I can only presume they have found something pretty damn serious.

*or whomever the splinter groups are called these days.

The risk level was raised to its highest for an attack from Ireland beginning of this week.

WBA 1 up v Liverpool (it shouldn't really count as they have only scored against Bogdan)

The Ulster Popular Peoples Front?

I wonder how the FA / PL deal with this outcome.

I guess the best case scenario is that 3 points for either team makes no difference to their final league position so the teams agree on calling the game a 0-0 draw.

West Ham above United as it stands

Back in the days of the troubles, didn't the IRA use certain codes to warn the authorities that they had planted a bomb. Though they usually only gave a couple of minutes notice. The speed at which the game was abandoned makes me wonder if a warning had been given.

Bournemouth would still be able to catch Crystal Palace and West Brom so I guess it will have to be played. Fuck knows when though with United in the cup final next weekend.
