His ankle is absolutely screwed.

As more uncertainty continues to grow at the Macron Stadium rumours continue to circulate around Bolton as to the clubs future, here at the Lion of Vienna Suite we have been led to believe there may be an end to the troubling situation.

A club insider, who has given us reliable information in the past, has been in touch again - this time with regards to a possible takeover.

Bolton Wanderers have been rumoured to be heading to administration this week with possible job cuts being touted by The Daily Mail (as so meekly refuted by the club).

This individual has reported to us of an 'imminent' potential take over at Bolton Wanderers by an unnamed consortium. We have no confirmation of this nor has there been any notification through public records.

The Lion of Vienna Suite understands the consortium which is looking to takeover 'within the next month' is going to be headed up by a former Wanderers player, again unnamed. Whilst the details are sketchy, it is reportedly akin to the Irish consortium led by Niall Quinn which took over Sunderland in 2006.

This is some stat.

9 of the last 16 England debutants have worked under Mauricio Pochettino, either at Tottenham or Southampton..

Former Spurs, Ipswich, Sunderland, Coventry, Leicester, Man City and West Brom keeper Marton Fulop has died aged 32. Cancer.

It is scary, just horrible at that age.

The Football League is having a rebrand and as of next season will be called the English Football League or "EFL". Which basically sounds like some sort of right wing white power group.

Surely it's full name will be 'The <insert name of large American brand> English Football League'?

That logo is shit.

But it won't matter because we'll be in the Premier League by then, right...? Anyone...? Frank..?

Sponsored by Britain First? Far too close to EDL for me personally. No doubt Owen Coyle will enjoy using it's full title at every available opportunity though.

Why? I thought that the Football League, like the Football Association and the Rugby Union doesn't need any further qualification?

Gah! I hate when people refer to the 'E'PL instead of the PL. Horrendous...
