Epically wrongIt's painfully try hard shite.

I loved it. Jason Bourne but with a sense of humour.Watched The Gray Man on Netfix.
Bog standard 1980's acton fare. Gosling reprises his role from Only God Forgives and Evans has more ham than a French Charcuterie.
All in all a bit pants, especially for $200m
The career of Chris Pratt will be pondered over by historians decades from now. To think at one point he was being mooted as Indiana Jones.Ryan Gosling is the leading man we need, but not the one we deserve. He's also a straight 10 which never hurts.
Instead we get Chris fucking Pratt playing Mario.
Brazil is worth a watch as well, another bonkers Terry Gilliam film,he also did the fisher king as well, so dunno if that goes on your list, python wise I enjoy holy grail over life of BrianWatched A Private Function the other night. A film about the illegal raising of a pig during ration times after the war. Quite enjoyed it and I really have no idea why
Also Time Bandits which is batshit crazy, kinda so bad it's good. The ending got me Googling which led to The Adventures of Baron Munchausen which also sounds batshit crazy and think I'll have to watch that at some point too
A Fish Called Wanda too, loved that. We kind of went on a Michael Palin/John Cleese bender but still haven't seen Monty Python which I guess is considered a crime...
Try some of Woody Allens early works Sleeper, Bananas and Love and Death are all worth it!Brazil - Really enjoyed the whole dystopian feel and it being quite trippy. Another kinda messed up ending. Think I need to look for some similar films but wouldn't want anything too weird or just a full on head trip
The Adventures of Baron Munchausen - More whacky than trippy like the 2 in the "trilogy". More silly and fun. A happier ending!, though not entirely straight forward. Some ridiculous moments along the adventure. Enjoyed it
Monty Python - Watched all 3. I enjoyed them and laughed at a few bits. Think I was expecting too much and/or it doesn't quite click with me. Kinda half watched at times and missed a few bits my partner laughed at so maybe will watch again some day
Tonight's film..... Nuns on the Run
Be interesting, I remember loving it as a kid, but can't actually remember anything about apart from the basic premise... Watched Clockwise recently, and it held up, Fish Called Wanda is an absolute classic, so will be interested in your view on it.Tonight's film..... Nuns on the Run
