The Raid. If you don't like mindless violence in films don't watch it. If you do, this film is fucking brilliant.

A group of coppers in Jakarta raid a tower block run by a vicious criminal gang, they soon realise they've been fucked over and have to escape. Some of the best martial art fight scenes I've seen follow with some eye-wateringly brutal deaths, brutal enough to make Mortal Kokbat's fatalities look like Disney.

A wafer thin plot is easily ignored given the action, and the choreography and camera work are fantastic. Sort of like The Warriors on steroids, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
