The Film Thread

Kingsman. Absolutely fantastic film! Funny, highly entertaining, some great characters.

I watched Nick Cave's 2,000 Days on Earth last night. Excellent film. Probably only of interest to NC fans though.

'Still Alice'. Very moving and sad.

Wished I hadn't watched it now.

Dumb and Dumber To - not as good as the original one, but I did crack up quite a few times. Some tremendously puerile slapstick humour throughout. I was expecting it to be crap going by what others have said so I was pleasantly surprised.

It was the red carpet for a pro-LGBT film, and all

American Sniper. What a bloody tragic ending, after all he'd seen and been through. Just terrible.

The Imitation Game was excellent. A good story coupled with some razor sharp dialogue.

Didn't think much of the film but the ending is just heart breaking really.

Agree, I'd read quite a bit about him and his life as a Navy Seal etc prior to watching the film. Then to watch the film and see the funeral footage at the end, as you say heart breaking.

Seventh Son. Disappointing and daft, and what the hells up with Jeff Bridges voice!

Next up is Jurassic Monsters Of The Deep.

In bed poorly today with bronchitis, a cold, ear ache, headache, fever, so todays viewing is 5 hours of Sons Of Liberty. Think it might be a bit hard going tbh.

Here's one for you to make you feel better, a nice love story..The Age Of Adeline.

Saw one of the worst films I've ever seen last night. Warm Bodies. Absolutely terrible in every way.
