The F1 Thread

I'm not really sure what the answer is. Potentially similar rules to engines would work. I fancy Lewis to continue his qualifying form and put it on pole before the demotion. Button has a great chance now, although we don't know what pace the cars will have come Sunday, especially if it rains.

What a lap that was from Nico.

When I saw Mercedes FP2 quali simulation times I predicted Rosberg on pole. Wish I'd have stuck some money on it now!

Kobayashi has to be worth a cheeky E/W punt tomorrow. They've evidently got good race pace, and are the quickest through the speed traps. With Mercedes having struggled with their race pace, Lewis a bit further back and the Red Bulls not looking great, 14-1 looks good value.

I agree. Kobayashi will be eager to impress after Perez's good result in Malaysia too.

It'll be interesting just to see how much Mercedes will struggle with race pace compared to the others. I suspect they won't be as bad as expected, especially if the temperature stays cool which will help with their tyre deg.

Disappointing result for Button. I expected him to be at least 3rd.

I think he's saved a set of softs for the race along with Webber, Perez and Alonso.

Not forgetting that Rosberg saved a new set of options too.

Anyone else up early for this one? Glad to finally be able to see some live racing without being buttfucked by murdoch.

Not a bad race so far. Enormous fuck up by the Mercedes pit crew to put schumi out. Rosberg looking good though, as are the McLarens

Rosberg looks very good. Not sure why McLaren pitted Hamilton there to drop him behind Massa.

Button's race to lose I think. Depends on getting a bit more of a lead before the final pit stop.

How come this race is also on terrestrial?

Ah right - didn't know that. I'm watching on Sky. Haven't half the BBC team from last year jumped ship to Sky?

Coulthard and Jordan are still here. What a fuck up on button's pit stop. That's the race gone.
