The F1 Thread

That's mixes things up a bit with swapping between tyres and the 1 driver that goes to early on the switch back

Should do

Supposed to be nice here so I am mowing a couple of lawns and then off fishing for yabbies down the creek before the race

No it isn’t called yabbie creek

In practice Zak Brown was saying they expect it to be raining pretty much all day Sunday.

Yeah you don't want standing water and heavy rain constantly red flagging things. Just keeping it wet should be good enough for the show as you say.

Hamilton on pole, ahead of Max in the sprint race

Sergio Lawson went out in Q1

Went out with the slowest time no less. How many races before we see Danny Ric back, or my curve ball, Mick Schumacher in the car

It wouldn’t make a difference. The car is completely built and tuned to suit Max’s unique driving style and no one else can get close. Albon, Gasly and Perez are all good drivers as shown elsewhere and were all miles off him in that car

All done without getting out of bed?
I wish, but it's a rational movement around the house.
Bed to bog to kettle to bed.
Hope i remember to switch the telly on, 8.30 is a tad early for this old git.

Looks like Ferrari fucked this one again. Pitting Hamilton means Verstappen going to get both he and Leclerc

Would have happened anyway, Max had too much pace once the fuel load was lighter

Max was catching Lewis and would have got him quite quickly. Pitting Lewis was a gamble worth taking as he was finishing 6th so pop fresh tyres on and hope others struggle.
Didn't happen but for me better than him trundling along on tyres that were not fully working for him.

Not sure about that. He’s got Leclerc with two laps left. Couple of laps behind Hamilton would have been enough to protect Leclerc
