Hamilton pushing but his engine lost its setting and it took 12 laps to get it back as the team aren't allowed to tell him over the Radio what he needs to do (only nearly 300 settings to choose from!!)

The regulations say that the driver must drive the car alone and unaided. They're just enforcing that rule.

Hamilton will be using his 5th and final allocated engine this weekend (4th one failed and died at the end of the Baku race). Any further engines = grid penalties. He reckons he will need at least 2 more. Massive damage to his seasons hopes.

P3 a disaster for Mercs so far.

They are really suffering with the SS tyres going off very quickly and both drivers have put in shit times. 20 mins to go and Nico comes out and totals his car. Looks like his suspension went on a kerb. They are going to be struggling to put his car out for qualifying. Race against time for his team.

If Nico does take part in Quali, then he will have a 5 place grid penalty as he gear box is borked and needs a new one. With Seb having the same, I wouldn't be surprised to see Kimi on Pole today.

Mercs are seriously concerned about the suspension and told Lewis to keep off the kerbs in his final 9 laps in P3 and that was costing him around 0.3 from the Ferarris.

Saw the crash, totally innocuous. Kerbs aren't normally an issue round here as far as I remember?

They have put a couple of new ones in and I don't think the teams and drivers are big fans

New yellow kerbs are causing issues. Knackered up Max V's in P1 but Nico didn't touch that part of the kerb, it was over the normal kerb. He may have clipped one earlier in the session which weakened the suspension.

Nico...rebuilt car and gets the fastest lap in Q1.

Those yellow kerbs are ridiculous. You shouldn't have them just smashing car's suspension to bits just because you run wide.
