But Red Bull you could perhaps attribute problems to the engine manufacturer. However McLaren have had issues with everything, gearbox, brakes, power...

Red Bull have major issues with their aero this year and how they use the tyres. Ricciardo is especially frutrated by the tyre warmup issues.

Newey is only there in an overseeing things capacity now. He's not designing the car any more.

He has gone off to do other projects.

So, Verstappen gets a 10 second time penalty on his first pitstop as well as being at the back row of the grid due to his not being able to take all his grid penalties.

Jenson Button has a drive through penalty instead of grid places, as he was already last on the grid, and he needs to take that within the first three laps of the race.
