The F1 Thread

Yes but a slow pit stop would have attracted attention, and possibly more so given how quick the pit stops usually are.

Well a lot of races this season have gone - Nico - 2.7s & Lewis 4.7s for the stationary part of the pit stop.

As Hamilton was massively quicker than Nico (one spot on the track where Lewis was blistering fast and miles ahead of everyone else) he only needed a 1 second switch around. A Nico pit stop where he doesn't line up his tyres correctly and bang second gained and no one would notice it.

A slow in-lap wouldn't have worked. Hamilton was over 4s behind Rosberg. You can't explain all that time away in a slow lap. It would have looked incredibly dodgy.

By the time Rosberg missed the chicane he was under a second in front so could quite easily have just let Hamilton pass him under DRS up the straight on the next lap if he'd wanted to

First error was when lewis and Massa were 4 seconds behind him. 2nd it was 0.7

The fact there has been zero information on his condition, no pictures, no word at all about it suggests to me that there could be very little if any of the old Schumi left. Very sad.

I agree, you'd think if they had some real positive signs then they'd be shouting from the roof tops about it but these vague updates of his 'improving condition' really don't inspire much confidence in the degree of his recovery.

Mexico on the calendar for next year. No Korea again so looks like that one is dead for good. India missing again too.

How Heidfeld is alive right now I will never know. Horror shunt.

Brainless stuff from Prost and then he has the nerve to defend it even after the dust has settled. So lucky that was a soft barrier.

Terrible, terrible move. I could even see criminal charges coming from that.

Christ!! Brutal smash and what a fuckwit move to take him out.

Alonso is absolutely fantastic to watch round here.

They'll inevitably fade back into obscurity come quali tomorrow which is a shame.

Pastor continuing his Andrea di crasheris impression I see. Has to be getting close to getting his super licence suspended. I hit the wall less on forza after fifteen pints.
