The Euro 2024 Thread

We seem to be reliant on the talented players pulling out a moment of magic to create something rather than have an actual plan. Sounds familiar as a Wolves fan.

Southgate is too chicken shit to drop either Saka or Foden, granted Saka is better out of the two but he has to shoehorn in those two when he has two proper left sided players sitting on the bench. TAA fucking anonymous and again another being shoehorned in, the Liverpool love in following on from Henderson. We will get through but under Southgate we will not win this tournament.

The chaps in the studio quite rightly going in hard on Southgate & the team.

Too deep, lacking intensity and generally lacking ideas all over the pitch. Shite.

Same old, same old. It's inexcusable to have no tactical plan after we score and with these players...

Looking a million miles away from tournament winners.

Getting more deflated by the game.

Disagree he’s tried to at least make things happen and found some space. Bellingham, Rice, TAA, Kane have been awful
One run through the middle that really he should have played Kane in. For me he's been poor.

Only as good as your management and Southgate can't use these players strengths

It was the first spark of anything from us since we scored.
We’ve been mostly terrible for the whole of the first half and even the goal came as a result of the left back going to sleep and a couple of lucky deflections.

TAA off at HT pls, Guehi and Walker the only players performing to any sort of level

Yep we’ll get through but starting to think we won’t win the group and end up with Germany in the second round

So stale since the goal. Think Southgate is after and would take the point here today. Once again we have zero width down the left, but not sure why we leave Saka so isolated when he looks like the most creative option.

Maybe he can change something in the second half but Southgate’s being out coached again currently.

He's got Gordon, he's got Eze, he's got Bowen. We need some energy on the pitch.
