The Euro 2024 Thread

Brilliant.... play it around the back... one loose control and hoof in desperation.

Why would you go back to a right footed player at left back after seeing how shit it's been for 4 games even with a proper fullback there, why are you now trying that experiment with a fucking winger?!

Imagine being a left sided forward when your side needs a goal and then you realise in front of you is Saka and Walker so just stand still and wait for the brain fart to happen and a massive gap for you to saunter through

That's some fucking cross.

I can't believe we got ourselves into a situation, then jammed our way out in the 95th minute, and we're now set up explicitly to give them an invitation to pressure us

We're still awful. If we do go through and play anything like this then we get beat by Switzerland who are far better than Slovakia.

After the 2nd goal goes in…

The whole of England: Let’s go and get a 3rd and finish it off

Southgate: Let’s defend for 27 minutes

For God's sake.

IF YOU SIT BACK ON THE EDGE OF YOUR OWN BOX FOR 10-20 MINUTES AT A TIME THEY WILL SCORE.

Sorry, I was having a flashback to shouting at Colin Lee in 1999 there. Not the actual England manager in 2024.

I know it's impossible, but if it was up to me I'd still be asking him to stand down come eight o clock tonight.
You can only hope it's a Fernando Santos 2016 style affair. Where in spite of how crap the manager is (I actually don't think Southgate is as bad as him, but this is a ceiling that's based somewhere near the earth's core in my book) you make it through and it's all that's tournament football and no-one cares in the end how brutal you were to watch in real time.

There's a lot of hoping going on there.

Come on plucky old England, you can hold on versus these European giants
