The Darts Thread

Notice the Civic have moved a couple of events to the Diamond Banqueting Suite on Skinner St.

Wonder if this is where they have lined up to hold the Grand Slam, stands a good chance?
 
UK Open goes ahead this weekend, but no fans will be there. Also had a few players unable to make it so byes up until the 3rd round.

Reading the comments on social media there are plenty of unhappy fans who are already onsite or nearly arrived.
 
Theres a couple having a beer in the crowd. Weird seeing the place empty though

It’s quite refreshing watching the darts without a “yaya/kolo” chant breaking out every five minutes. Maybe fans should be banned from all future events.

Thought the same tbf, shame the scorer is bellowing out every 180 & threy're playing the music to lead up to a break

So the new venue for the Grand Slam is Aldersley Stadium.
 
Gerwyn Price unsurprisingly a bit out of his depth in the PL this year.
 
He was always an awful, awful pick. Done nothing whatsoever to justify it. I wouldn't mind so much if he weren't such a total fucking knob.
 
Price ends up with the worst ever PL record. P9 W0 D2 L7 (and he was lucky to get the two draws, went miles behind and his opponents just Devon Loched it both times). Never saw that coming.

Dreadful player.

He's the only player I have ever seen seriously piss off Gary Anderson who has a shout of being the most easy-going man on the planet.
 
I feel for Mensur there. Played some great darts. He has been a worthy addition to the premier league. Unlike Price.

20,000 fans expected aswell according to the PDC facebook page.
