The Darts Thread

Like the look of Scott Baker from Tipton. Games gone all the way.
 
4 sets apiece in the final, all sets have gone with the darts. Durrant seems to want it to go all the way. Looks like he can quite easily blow McGeeney away then doesn't.
 
Are the hotel rooms non refundable at the Lakeside? Plenty of players seem to stick around all week after losing.

Durrant wins the ninth set to finally lead in the match. McGeeney was abysmal in that last set.
 
Commentary is doing my nuts in. Look. It's really fucking simple. Durrant wouldn't be in the top 10 in the PDC so stop trying to imply he is some world darts behemoth.

I don't know there is some right meh outside the top six in the PDC now. You only have to look at a few of the Premier League picks to see that. Durrant hasn't had to get out of second gear the majority of the tournament. The only time he was in trouble against Jim Williams he went from averaging 90 to over a hundred on the last 4 sets.

Having checked the rankings easily top 20 and having to raise his game would benefit him. It's irrelevant anyway as he's already said "BDO for life"

Yep. He said if he won his QF (which he did, but only just) then he'd stay in the BDO and that was that.

He is definitely better than Permaprick Gerwyn Price who the PDC have recently deemed to be one of the 10 players they want in the Premier League.
 
Premier League is back. Not too bad tonight. They’ve either turned the crowd volume down or 90% of them aren’t acting like dicks for once.
 
Standard has been excellent, although Gando is fucked and really should be taking some time out.

Agreed but not before his next match against Gerwyn Price. Proper needle between the two last weekend.
 
He can be a dick off the board as well. Can see him getting the boot from the UK Open for that
 
Lewis has been suspended with immediate effect by DRA pending investigation into his actions this evening
 
It's been cut out of the videos but apparently he grabbed Parales round the throat too.

From what I can gather Parales accused him of getting too close behind him when he was throwing. Maybe even stepping on the back of his shoes to make them come off when he stepped forward (he's done this before apparently).

Premier League cancelled tonight. Was due to be in Exeter and they're going to get battered by the stuff that's heading our way later.

UK Open at Minehead (due to start tomorrow) still on at present but I'm convinced they'll play.
