Superb stuff second session. Carse redeems himself with a superb run out from his own bowling and Convict CC are all back in the hutch for 152.

Duckett out cheaply AGAIN.

With the headlines about Noosa, I think his place must be under serious question now as his average this series has been shocking.

So. Day 1 not over and the third innings starts with Australia having a 42 run lead.

This England side simply cannot fucking bat.

Well just woken up saw Australia were 4-0, I assumed we’d batted most the day.
Pitch looks like a seam bowlers paradise.
I’ll always say never get excited until this England side has a go on the same wicket as they’re beyond useless

Duckett yet again awful and who’d have thought bringing in a bloke who’s carried drinks more often than he’s batted this year and has never scored a red ball hundred would make a difference? Two down in the blink of an eye and you knew exactly what would follow.

The pitch is very, VERY difficult. So England decided that there was a ball with their name on it soon so might as well charge the bowlers.

This went as well as Lord Cardigan charging the Russian guns

Root and Brook both got corkers. Everyone else got themselves out.

Made Neser look like Dennis Lillee.

Some nice early short and wide dross from our bowlers early on

Well this is getting interesting. Shame Atkinson has injured himself but otherwise a good morning.

After the initial rubbish he has been very good. One more wicket and can start planning our batting collapse.

This is entertaining, thankfully it's not middle of the night where I am or I'd get no sleep to watch this through!

That was fun from Duckett. Carse in at number 3 is an intriguing solution to the top order problems

Why are you hitting shots like that with 3 days left to win and an average of 18 runs per wicket needed. Still fancy England to find a way to lose this.

I think that is rather unlikely now. Obviously the pitch is a minefield so attack is some form of defence.
