Carse had match figures of 10-106, the first away 10-for by an England bowler since Monty Panesar in 2012, and first by a seamer since Ryan Sidebottom in this country 16 years ago.

Yeah, that's a very good win against a quality opponent. With Pope lower down the order and Stokes at 7 we look better balanced.

New Zealand will be ruing 8 dropped catches including dropping Brook four times. Good win for England who took full advantage but let's not forget they were 71-4 and staring at the wall.
