Just because his record in Australia isn’t amazing, still won more ashes tours away than the likes of Starc, Hazelwood, Cummings and Johnson who they’d argue are better.

Not being spoken enough about. SA sending a third team to New Zealand for a Test series because they want their stars available for their T20 competition. The big 3 nations need to do something financially to stop that from happening. NZ 258/2 after day 1.

Interesting. Australia don’t really do that with the big bash but they are playing home tests when that is being played. They released their 13th man back to Brisbane Heat to allow him to play in the final but that was an outlier.

The elephant in the room is of course the IPL

Serious test cricket is being limited to matches between England, India and Australia.

NZ haven’t got a really good side yet it was a stroll in the park yesterday against a SA team that I hardly knew.

True but IMO the Convict Cheats are massively over-rated (and they're probably the best test cricket playing country at present), albeit I absolutely loathe them - have done ever since that underarm way, way back in February 1981.

They're holier than thou hypocritical attitude really crates with me, of course made worse after the sandpaper incident against SA a few years ago. I did love Shane Warne as a cricketer though.

This test was lost in the first innings this as a fourth innings total is very decent.

It’s a decent effort and if the first two are anything to go by it could be a great series

It’s that Jaiswal innings that’s won this, a bit like Pope in the first Test. Other than that it’s been very even again.
