The Cricket Thread

I don’t think it’s clear cut and it could be argued his shot is completed at the top of the swing when he holds the pose. Which is why I said opinion will be split amongst umpires and fans. There are precedents where debate has been had over when a shot is considered to be complete and not out decisions have been given.
I’d have been appealing if I’d been in the field but also would have been consulting the laws if I was sat in the dressing room.

He doesn’t appear to hold the pose very long at all and the bat comes down from momentum. It’s his own stupid fault it hit the stumps and he is out 100% of the time with any competent umpire.

Stokes says he's going to try to sort his knee out during the break we have between Tests after this one, so maybe he's not going to make an ODI comeback for the World Cup after all.

Warner drops an absolute dolly, what a shame.

Shite captaincy again from Cummins, free runs everywhere.

How on earth has Duckett got away with that? Dropped in the slips by Warner.

Tougher chance put down by Smith, Crawley this time.

Smith drops another. Difficult chance. Crawley this time. 😳

Marsh gets Duckett with some absolute filth.

Duckett out caught off glove down leg side. Don't like wafts down the leg side, Crawley played a couple earlier.

Duckett goes for trying to play at everything again. Good review by the Aussies, but feels a bit of a cheap one from Duckett again after a good start.

Just as Taylor talked about going slightly shorter, Cummins goes with it and gets Crawley.

Crawley should be leaving that on length. But he wouldn't would he?

I reckon 300-350 will be a par score on this wicket. Looks lively when short of a length.
