The Cricket Thread

My thoughts are this is very in balance. A very fascinating first two thirds of a session. England are batting well. Australia are bowling and fielding well in defending against the Baz. Really intriguing stuff so far,

Batsmen have looked comfortable and the balls not doing much. Australia trying to just frustrate but at some point they are going to have to start looking for wickets as I doubt we are all going to give them away like Duckett and to a lesser extent pope did. Then they could have the game taken away from them as we start to ramp the run rate up.

I always thought 85-90 at lunch on the first day was good batting. which should be 30 overs. 23.2 overs. 108-2

Probably just tips that over into being Australia’s morning. The pitch is dead

Just a good ball that. Bizarre that Erasmus didn't give it.

Honours even I would say with how deep we (theoretically) bat and how quickly we've scored.

On a normal English pitch maybe, this is lifeless.
Hardly lifeless, or dead. Flat, I agree.
Boland has got the ball to lift off just short of a length, which is how Crawley went.
I would say an even session with that last wicket falling.

Think Australia will be the happier of the two but not a lot in it.

Labuschagne is such a knob. Shut the fuck up.

Yep, he's forever screeching away. A complete oddball.

Obviously got away with one but Brook has all the attributes to be top notch.

Started tipping it down over here. Could be heading your way in an hour or two.

Not been a great 10 minutes for Travis Head :D
