Exactly 100 Test wickets in the 2020s, wonder if he's the first to reach that mark. Got a chance as we've played more than anyone else. Even if we did inexplicably leave him out of a tour for Matt Fisher and Craig Overton (yes it still annoys me).

You'd imagine Ashwin will join him in the next few days and Broad has a chance in this series too. Southee, Lyon and Cummins will probably have to wait a bit longer.

I read earlier in the week that they often are green but tend to play like a standard pitch.

The pitch here was green 48 hours out from the toss, although looks are often misleading in this part of the world; when the wind is up (often) and the sun is out (variable), surfaces tend to play truer than they look.
